'soul parallax' as a estimate of empathy between people.

In the 18th century a method known as a stellar parallax was elaborated to measure the distance between the Earth and the distant objects in the cosmos by William Herschel. It comprises of a cunning idea stemming from the apparent observation that a tiny shift in the frame of reference will produce a conceivable parallax alteration in the stellar objects closer to the vantage point. If you take that idea and transcend its grounds to a human soul to soul proximity, than I think we can roughly estimate the amount of empathy as the span between two souled beings. If we accept the concept that empathy could be very much indeed the manifestation of love than if a person absorbing your pain or pleasure promptly yet staying sane renders its/hers/own soul closer to your very own one and probably living in love of you?
